Sustainable development and health sciences have converged in recent years as a comprehensive response to the environmental and social challenges affecting health systems. This article analyses scientific production at the intersection of these two fields during the period 2018-2023, identifying key trends, international collaborations and emerging lines of research. Based on a review in the Scielo database, the main themes within the framework of this intersection were explored. The analysis highlighted the growing interdisciplinarity, with significant contributions from public health, biomedical engineering and environmental management. Likewise, an increase in international collaboration was evident, although inequalities persist in the participation of countries with less access to scientific resources. The main lines of research include the environmental impact of health practices, the implementation of green technologies and health resilience to global crises. This study highlights the need to strengthen scientific cooperation and public policies that promote sustainable solutions in the field of health. The findings offer a framework to foster debate and guide future research towards sustainable and equitable development.
